Ringa- Ringa ....whats happened to our Telugu

I heard a a song ....a song that i cannot sing ...i don't want to hum ....
thats because i find it offensive ...well yeah ..i find it offensive to the very idea of songs.
This is a song titled Ringa-Ringa from the movie Arya-2.The telugu movie industry has had more that its share of obscene songs and so this is no different.Well yes its no different except for the fact that in no time our little kids are going to dance these numbers on one of those god forsaken reality television shows.Going by the lyrics the songs ..well...describes how a girl from a foreign country came over to Andhra pradesh and became a prostitute...so its for us ot decide now whether we need to let this song play in our living rooms or make sure such things are properly censored.
having said this ...iam not right wing extremist or a religious fundamentalist planing to ban Vandemataram or the valentines day.iam just another concerned guy who thinks the movie makers,song writers should realize that Movie and television are a great force that have way too much impacts on our lives.....
i hope and wish that this songs gets censored soon or gets an Adult certificate atleast ....

Don't judge a book by its cover is personified by this 47 year Scottish woman who wowed an entire crowd and the judges in the Britons got talent show ....Susan Boyle ...this name has become synonymous with the phrase "never give up no matter what people think or say about you"...
check the fact sheet ....her audition video on the Youtube has been received over 7 Million views...and with over 30,000 text comments..this lady has become a phenomenon in matter of days ...i felt a lil misty after i saw the video ....it gave me a lot of courage and revived the confidence in the phrase "Impossible is not an option..."

Do not Watch-Men

Ever happened to you that you went for a free movie ...i mean for one where the tickets are already purchased by your lady friend and you have to go like "have to" ...... well i did ...last weekend ....it was called "Watchmen"......and for the sake of all the lords of sweet goodness i would say .."what the heck " .....was that a movie ....no it wasnt....it was Something a little short of a filthy combination of an ugly snuff film and a porno movie .....oh ya ..i could see plenty of that chic ready to disrobe at the blink of an eye..... ever wondered how good the sex life of super heroes was ....after seeing the movie i must say "pretty amazing" ....i saw a blue man with "Tilak" who looked like a run away member of the blue man group calling himself god ...Dr.Manhatten i meant .....he's probably the luckiest S.O.B among the Super hero creed....he could get laid and work on fusion reactor simultanioulsy :-)....an amzing of waste of my quality 2 hours which i will never get back in my life .....

Recession Blues.......

The biggest fallout of recession is neither the plummeting Stocks nor the business Bankruptcies.It is the fear that this situation has built in us.I have seen people frantically searching for jobs which have become virtually non existent in the market.The fear of loosing one's dearly held job overnight has created a kind of mass hysteria among people world over.
I see some Colleagues and friends addressing each other with sighs of relief and "thank god you have the job" . Is this the worst or is the worst yet to come.IMF has declared this as the worst economic crisis ever.This has made the policy makers across the world re-think their economic policies.The flag bearers of free trade and fiery supports of globalization are slowly showing signs of protectionism.The "foreign workers are not welcome "sign boards are virtually about to be hung across the business in the world starting with those in the US.This is perhaps the only phenomenon that hasn't spared neither a sector nor a country....probably like death it has not spared any race or creed...neither the rich nor the poor.
Talking of the scenario back in the countries like India where export of Cheap labor in high tech industries like Fabrication and IT is a considerable part of the economy,the growth has almost taken a sudden jolt.With the economy sustaining itself with no growth what so ever.With dwindling opportunity and curbs on software exports to US ..the companies which had seen preposterous growth rates of 30 to 40 % YoY are now feeling the heat....Big IT houses like TCS ,INFOSYS,WIPRO are baring the brunt as their primary market,the US is in very bad shapre.Its no time that they would also come back with policies of layoffs and job cuts .
i hope tomorrow i can still face the mirror and say "thank God i have my Job for the day ".....

2008 !!! Wow..the year that was

The year 2008 has been a great one too...

Had a great time Traveling across Continents and cities (Basel -Singapore-Bangkok-Manila-Shanghai) and icing on the cake was to be india at right time to attend a family re-union....

The year was ofcourse marred with very sad incidents like Blasts and terror strikes and loss of some friends ...my prayers for those...but we shall allook forward at 2009 to be very eventful and full of Happiness and peace ...
